The Glass Half Full is a wine and beer making establishment independently owned and operated by Denis and Nicole Porlier. We have been providing award-winning wines and craft beer to people in the communities of Oakville, Mississauga and surrounding areas since 2004. Read our testimonials.

Denis and Nicole are terrific and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. We have been buying beer, wine, and coffee from The Glass Half Full for years now and have been really happy with the top-notch service and quality product. Recently, Denis went above and beyond in brewing a contemporary domestic beer that was absolutely perfect with a smooth, clean taste that we were hoping to achieve.

Working with Nicole and Denis has been an absolute pleasure! From the very first time I reached out to them they had amazing customer service and were so eager to be helpful, fast responding, and make great suggestions. We made Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio wine as wedding favours and they even helped us create labels and heat shrink capsules that matched perfectly with our wedding theme. Their customer service didn’t end after I picked up the wine because a couple of weeks later they reached out to make sure the wine was good. Can’t recommend this family owned business enough!

Such a great little shop!!! I’ve had the pleasure of bottling beer and wine here and both times Dennis and Nicole have exceeded my expectations! They are incredibly knowledgeable and eager to help me make the best selection. The beer and wine is so much better than I ever expected – so much better than what you find at the lcbo!! Always a fair price and always great friendly service. I’m so happy with my beer and wine and would highly recommend their services to anyone!!

Just a little over ten years ago I picked up a flyer from my front step inviting me to come try ferment-on-premises winemaking at The Glass Half Full. I did and had the good fortune of meeting the proprietors, Denis and Nicole Porlier, and have been “making” and enjoying many delicious wines since. Although my beverage of choice is wine, I have also sampled beer, coffee and tea offered at The Glass Half Full. In fact, I tease Denis and Nicole that if they keep expanding their inventory they’ll have to rename their store The Drink Depot! I am a longstanding customer for good reasons – premium products and great service!
